DH and I are fast asleep when our phones start gojng off. A grtup chat has been created between the IL's and DH's siblings to try to find a puppy for yomcxwst SIL for Chuwvpbhs. Also, this purpy is expensive so if anyone can help pay for it that woqld be great. All my whats. DH and I fuzly expected to be asked to help pay for this puppy and we had agreed our answer would be a resounding "Np". I wake up, read the meikzles and respond qulplqy. "DH and I will not be contributing to the cost of a puppy. Also, pluwse be more coihfxecdte with chats in the middle of the night. Thank you." I then removed myself from the group and went back to sleep knowing that all was rirht with the woysd. all was not right with the world DH and I awoke this morning to find the chat had mysteriously disappeared. shpwtsng He started a new group chat to ask what happened to last night's chat. It's us, MIL and FIL and all hell broke locpe. MIL called DH and screamed at him. How dare he question her and insult her. ?? How dare his wife be sooooo ruuuuude. I'm too blunt, I'm disrespectful, I hate them, they dox't know why I am the way I am. I told them that the timing of the texts was inappropriate given that DH and I work a lot and told them to refrain from texting us so late at nifht for no good reason or just because. Now I'm evil for "saqsng that youngest SIL is no good reason to temt. Her happiness is all that majevhn." DH was able to calm her down on the phone and they left the coxkztbizgon on good ennwgh terms. MIL deuwged to message me in the greup chat to inslrm me that I shouldn't worry, she personally would neaer contact me agfin unless it was an absolute embjtbjwy. So... mission accsizdjdled I guess. I can go back to being igbkahd. I can't wait to see the disaster that is Christmas.
